Request for Proposals: OneFeather Website Redesign
OneFeather
OneFeather is inviting proposals from qualified Canadian web design and development partners to lead the redesign and implementation of our corporate website.
This project represents a strategic evolution of our digital presence. The redesigned website must clearly represent OneFeather’s ethos, purpose, and credibility while supporting our near term fintech initiatives and long-term organizational growth.
We are seeking a vendor partner who can translate strategy into a secure, scalable, and intuitive digital experience grounded in clarity and trust.
Project Overview
The selected vendor will lead the end-to-end redesign of OneFeather’s website, including discovery, information architecture, design, development, testing, and implementation.
The website must support defined user needs, business priorities, security requirements, and future scalability. The redesign will not involve changes to OneFeather’s brand identity. The visual direction must align with our existing brand.
The anticipated start for this engagement is April 2026. Proposals will be accepted until March 25, 2026, 11:59 PM PST.
Scope of Work
The scope of this engagement includes:
- Information architecture and user experience design grounded in validated user journeys.
- Visual design aligned with OneFeather’s current brand system.
- Technical development and implementation of a scalable website platform.
- Integration with Zendesk and identification of additional system integration requirements during discovery.
- Alignment with SOC II requirements and modern security best practices.
- WCAG 2 AA accessibility compliance.
- Structured discovery workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Quality assurance testing and launch support.
- Collaboration with OneFeather’s Marketing and Communications team on content implementation.
- All website copy will be developed internally by OneFeather. Vendors must collaborate closely to ensure structure, user flows, and content are aligned.
- French translation is required for fintech related content and will be introduced once English copy is finalized.
- The website must be hosted in Canada, with preference given to solutions that ensure Canadian data residency.
Post Launch Ownership
The desired outcome of this project is a website that can be independently managed by OneFeather’s Marketing and Communications team following launch. Routine content updates, structural changes, and page creation must not require ongoing developer support.
Vendors may propose a maintenance plan for patches, security updates, and infrastructure oversight if required by the proposed technical architecture. Clear documentation and knowledge transfer will be required prior to project completion.
Vendor Qualifications
We are seeking a Canadian based vendor with demonstrated experience delivering secure, scalable websites for complex organizations.
Experience working within financial technology environments or regulated contexts will be considered a strong asset.
The selected partner must demonstrate:
- An ability to lead a structured and inclusive discovery process that engages cross functional stakeholders.
- A design approach grounded in culture, clarity, and credibility rather than promotional or sales-driven patterns.
- Strong project management practices and clear communication throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Technical capability to deliver a secure, future proof platform aligned with SOC II Type 2 requirements.
- Preference will be given to Indigenous owned or Indigenous led businesses where appropriate, while prioritizing overall capability and fit.
Proposal Submission
Proposals must be submitted electronically to:
Julia Clissold, Marketing & Communications Manager
The submission deadline is March 25, 2026, 11:59 PM PST.
There is no prescribed proposal format. Vendors are encouraged to outline their approach, relevant experience, timeline estimate, and pricing structure.
Questions related to this RFP may be directed to Julia Clissold at the email above until March 20, 2026.
